Things you need to enter Boracay Island in 2024: 

Boracay Island, Philippines is still the favorite go-to place of our foreign friends and local tourists despite all the unfavorable things happening today. And summer season in the Philippines is your best reason to visit the most photographed beach in the Philippines, the famous island of Boracay.

Here are some of the new things you should get ready when visiting Boracay this year:

1. BOOKING DETAILS / HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS CONFIRMATION DOCUMENTS

Before you can enter the island, if you are a tourist, you will be asked about your confirmed hotel accommodations by the Terminal staff.

You will be required to present the actual booking confirmation document from your booking agency. Both printouts and screenshots are accepted. 

2. QR CODE from MALAY, AKLAN

You may look for the QR CODE Facilitator within the Terminal. It is free of charge. If you have a strong internet connection you may also do it yourself by visiting www.touristboracay.com and providing the necessary information needed. Your QR code from your respective city may not be the same and will not be honored by the management when entering Boracay. 

I recommend that you take the line and have the QR Lady generate your QR code to lessen the hassle.

3. ROUND-TRIP FLIGHT DETAILS

It may be necessary to provide your round-trip details for further tracking and coordination. A printout or a screenshot is accepted.

4. VALID IDENTIFICATION & COVID-19 VACCINE CARD (ID/PASSPORT)

You are required to present a valid identification and Vaccine Card issued by the government.

After the recording and tracking, you may proceed to the following windows where you can purchase the tickets needed to enter Boracay Islands, Malay Aklan. 

Additional Note: For Fully-Vaccinated Individuals VaxCertPH/Vaccination Card/ID, For Unvaccinated or Partially Vaccinated Individuals RT-PCR Negative Result Certificate (saliva, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal) with the date of extraction within 72 hours to date of travel.

Transportation and Fees Going to Boracay Price Guide (as of April 2023)

Php 10,000 - Van Rental from Iloilo City to Caticlan and Vice versa for 10  pax (price may vary per van transport company)

Php 477 - Bus fare from Iloilo Ceres Terminal to Caticlan Port per person

Php 100 - Terminal Fee per person

Php 150 - Environmental Fee per person

Php 50 - Boat Fare per person

Php 25 - per person via E-tricycle/commuter

Php 150 - e-tricycle / rented (can accommodate 4-6 passengers per trip)

Php 160 - per person from Cagban Jetty Port to Caticlan Airport (optional)

You may opt to book your hotel accommodations through Online Travel Agencies (OTA) like Booking.com, Agoda, Traveloka, and others. Booking through these booking platforms may charge you up to 12% whether you pay in credit, debit, or cash.

• Boracay Service Charges

 * ( 10% - Service Charge)

Note: All restaurants especially the ones on the front beach have an automatic 10% service charge.

 * 12% - Surcharge during holidays and other special occasions
