| La Carlota supports URC’s plastic waste program |
LA CARLOTA CITY, NEGROS: Universal Robina Corporation (URC), led by its President and Chief Executive Officer Irwin Lee (right), conducted its third monthly collection of used plastics for its waste management program, Juan Goal for Plastic (JGFP).

JGFP is a Gokongwei Group-wide plastic waste management program that aims to help keep plastics away from nature through collection and recycling. URC piloted the program in La Carlota City last July, 2022, and now has seven collection sites in communities within Luzon and Visayas. As part of its long-term commitment to achieve plastic neutrality, the food manufacturing company is looking to launch more collection sites nationwide.
